LENWORTH FULTON

Lenworth Fulton is an agriculturalist extraordinaire who has been serving the Jamaican farmers for over 30 years in various capacities which includes CEO - Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA); Executive Director - Jamaica 4-H Clubs; Programme Specialist -USAID and Managing Director – COA Jamaica Foundation and Spring Garden Farms.

He is a graduate of the Jamaica School of Agriculture (JSA), now CASE, and Tuskegee University in the United States, with a Diploma in General Agriculture and a B.Sc. in Economics, respectively.

Mr. Fulton currently manages his farm in Lumsden, St. Ann, and serves as a consultant to several agribusiness operations. He has gained valuable experience working with international and local agencies such as FAO and CVSS/United Way.

His passion for the Jamaica Agricultural Society spans over 20 years, serving in different capacities such as branch member in St Ann; ex-officio National Board member representing Jamaica 4-H Clubs and RADA; and current president of St. Catherine ABS and member of the National Board representing St. Catherine.

Fulton sees the JAS as the vehicle for improvement in agricultural production and productivity, training, affordable financing, marketing and social entrepreneurship, especially for rural communities.

The veteran agricultural administrator and farmer officially assume the presidency of the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) on Sept. 5th, 2018.
